In 1976 I began to work in a music store in South Switzerland (Ticino county) city of Locarno
(Lago Maggiore) where the mountains, lake, nature, flowers,  and the old historical city was beautiful. In addition, the film Festival made this  city  every year, end of July the capital of the film  producers and artists. At that time not only I had the opportunities to work for Radio Pino International (Italy), Swiss Italian TV (TSI), Polivideo, Video Productions company for BBC, MTV, and World Music Productions, but also  working with a lot of Italian musicians, artist, comics  and International film producers.
in 1978, I met a very important person who was the director of this film festival and he introduced me to a sound engineer who few years later contacted me when I was working in Zurich for the number one Music Instrument & PA System distributor in Europe.  Jacques Isler,Corp
This sound engineer needed a good and reliable sound system which will be install in Piazza Grande in Locarno for the film festival. His  choice was Peavey Electronics sound system over Electrovoice System. Peavey got the honor to be  for the next 7 years the sound system for this gigantic
and world event.

Being in Miami, I met a fantastic artist, who was following her intuition  making portraits of  interesting people. She told me that I was one of them, and here I'am!
What do you think about her judgment and designs?

I was in a big discussion with my  competitor! Larry Frandsen, European director, marketing and distribution of Electrovoice,Corp. At that time Electrovoice had and advantage on Peavey Sound Equipment. Their speaker sound was more for disco music and D'j view the low frequency responses of it, instead of Peavey's which was more for open air concert and night clubs bands.  The competition was hard but friendly like this picture on the left tells. Picture by
SONO, huge French Music Magazine (1984)

Peavey 20th Anniversary was celebrated in 1985 with over 450 dealers (US & Europe), where Bobby Cochran (Bobby & the Midnight) with Vinnie Colaiuta, drums, David Garfield, Keyboard , Pat Thomi, Guitar player, Tim Landers Bass Player, played in Meridian (MS) where Peavey manufactory is located. Although they are super PRO they had a rehearsal  in a Studio  in Hollywood were I was there with Jack Wilson who become later Peavey vice president.

Miles Davis Band, which I sponsored  the Bass Player Darryl Jones with the Peavey Max 800, with 2X18"Speakers and 800 watts power amplifier (CS800), which was used by a lot of Bass players  from all over the world.

Franfurt Music Fair or (Musik Messe) happened every year at the end of January after the NAMM Show in Anaheim (CA). This  Music Fair brought  not only music manufactories, but also musicians from all over the world. I was working for Jacques Isler,Corp. which represented Peavey Electronics, and 14 other brands which were the best in the music market at  that time. Oberheim was one of it and was the keyboard most praised by Keyboarder and recording studio's all over the world.

Sound's Explosion! (English)

1986 Jacques Isler and myself indicating to Disc Instruments International Magazine, what we will distribute in Europe the next few years.

Left Jacques Isler President of the Corporation.
I had many function in his company as marketing research, sales, resale's  and distributions, coordinator, sponsor manager for Peavey and Hughes & Kettner, Tech support and sound engineer for big stars who needed assistance in Europe, and back line technician for many Swiss Music Festivals, which one of the most famous in the world,  The Montreux Jazz Festival.

1984 was a great year for Peavey, which was already in Europe growing in reputation every year since 1977. 1984 determined the future of this great and gigantic company, which is today PEAVEY ELECTRONICS.
Frazer Kennedy Montreux Jazz Festival, stage manager, coordinator, and world  producer gave to me and Peavey the great opportunity to continue what I began in 1977 but in a bigger scale, and it's to tour with big American's stars all over the world for more than 10 Years.
Left to right. Frazer Kennedy, Hartley Peavey, and Alain Renaglia who changed look and outfit!
